A note from me

I wanted somewhere for these things to live.

I’ve found it difficult to introduce the different things that interest me without feeling I have to choose which part to lead with.

OFFBEAT is a place to let those interests sit alongside one another: things that catch my eye, questions I keep returning to, and ideas that sometimes become businesses.

I hope it gives you a sense of the world inside my head, and something interesting to take back into yours.

That question follows me into my work, too. Through THINK NEAR|FAR, I help businesses look at the distance between what they promise and what people experience. With Obviously, I’m exploring how gifting and discovery can make an everyday exchange feel personal.
